STATIONS

Ballymote
The disused signal cabin has been removed to allow the platform to be extended.

Carrick-on-Shannon
The water tank has been demolished to allow the platform to be extended.

Connolly
Following the removal of the Ramp at Connolly Station, the road along platform 2 has become largely redundant. The area is now to be developed with a new waiting room for
Enterprise passengers, improved toilet facilities, enlargement of the concourse and a new retail unit. This represents an investment of €2m.

Ennis
É has applied for planning permission for a 200-space car park at Ennis station. The car park is to be located on railway owned land and is necessary as a result of the increased numbers of passengers using the enhanced Ennis-Limerick service.

Rosslare Europort
In June, Enniscorthy District Court approved the transfer of the terminal's liquor licence from IÉ to a Dublin based company, Select Service Partner Ireland Limited, who are planning to take over the running of the 'railway refreshment room'. The company has been running a bar at
Dublin Airport for 21-years.
